About

Practically Natty started in January 2026 in Tallahassee, Florida. Before there was a store there was the mark — a chain-stitched script on a handful of caps, made in small numbers for the people around us. The store came after.

Chain stitch on the caps, ink on the cotton

The snapbacks are embroidered: the PNP script across the front, the Practically Natty arch across the back, in thread rather than vinyl because a cap is the piece that holds a stitch properly. The tees, the tank and the shaker are printed. Both are done properly and neither is dressed up as the other — we would rather name the process than claim one for the whole line.

The mark is never redrawn

Everything the script or the arch appears on carries the original vector art. No machine redraws it and no artist cleans it up. The palette is red and gold: red thread with a white outline on the caps, gold on the red tee, tonal black on black where the mark is meant to be found rather than seen. When a colourway flips, that is the colourway changing — not the mark.

Small runs

Everything is made in small numbers, in cotton chosen to keep its shape rather than to hit a price. Sizes run out, and not everything comes back.
